9/23/2005 05:33:00 PM|W|P|Christine|W|P|I had my annual visit with Dr. Emery today. Just wanted to check in on him and see how he's doing. He moved to a new office and the rooms are much bigger. That was nice. Even though I never spend much time in them. Dr. Emery took a look at my lip and said it looks good. It always does. He said that before I start kindergarten we may do another revision. [Will these revisions ever end?] He said that a lot of times parents just want to clean it up before a kid goes to school, because they don't want other kids to be mean or whatever. Nobody even notices my lip now though. So we'll see. Dr. Emery said he leaves the decision up to the parents. I do have a little bit of skin that hangs down on my lip where the cleft was at. And he said he could sand down the scar a little bit more so it's barely there. But it's still two years before I start school so we have lots of time to think about whether or not we want to do more. Dr. Emery also took a couple pictures of my lip. I stood really still and gave him a big smile like he asked me to. Mom said I was such a good boy. Dr. Emery even let me look at the pictures on his camera like mom always does. That was pretty neat.
